Beach House Center for Recovery: Building Stronger Communities Through Outreach and Education

At Beach House Center for Recovery, our work extends beyond the walls of treatment. We know that lasting recovery happens when individuals, families, and communities are supported with education, compassion, and connection. That’s why we are committed to giving back and being actively involved in initiatives that strengthen the communities we serve.

Community Engagement at the Heart of Recovery

Addiction touches every corner of society—from families to workplaces to faith communities. For this reason, our team is dedicated to partnerships that break down stigma, promote awareness, and create safe spaces for healing. Whether through professional collaborations, speaking engagements, or local outreach, Beach House strives to be a resource for hope and transformation.

Spotlight: Upcoming Faith & Recovery Event

This Saturday, our Director of Strategic Partnerships, Lyle Fried, CAP, ICADC, CRRA, CISM, CMMHC, will join mental health counselor Wynne Stallings, LMHC, QS, CAP for a live, in-person event at Journey Church in Lake Worth, FL.

The event—designed for pastors, church leaders, and Christian counselors—focuses on how faith communities can respond wisely and compassionately to addiction. Together, the presenters will cover:

  • Addiction as a progressive medical disease—not just a moral failing.
  • The biblical and historical roots of the 12 Steps.
  • How Alcoholics Anonymous aligns closely with Christian discipleship.
  • Practical ways churches can build bridges to recovery through ministries, partnerships, and open conversations.

Why This Matters

Addiction isolates, but the Church—and the wider community—is designed to restore. With leaders like Lyle at the forefront, Beach House Center for Recovery continues to bridge the gap between treatment and community, ensuring that families, churches, and leaders are equipped to be part of the solution.

As 1 Corinthians 12:26–27 reminds us:
"If one member suffers, all suffer together... Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it."

Our Ongoing Commitment

The upcoming event in Lake Worth is just one example of how Beach House Center for Recovery engages with the wider community to reduce stigma, strengthen partnerships, and promote lasting transformation. Every step we take in the community strengthens the foundation of support available to those who need it most.
