Freedom First Program for Veterans & First Responders

Welcome to
Beach House Center for Recovery

Helping Those Who Serve with Purpose and Honor

The Freedom First Program at Beach House is a trauma-focused residential treatment track designed specifically for veterans, active military, and first responders, including law enforcement officers, firefighters, dispatchers, EMTs, and corrections professionals. Built on the values of purpose, structure, and resilience, this program provides comprehensive, evidence-based care in a setting that understands your world.

We understand the toll that service takes. The trauma, stress, moral injury, and emotional exhaustion that accumulate over time. Whether you served in combat or responded to crises in your community, this program was created to meet your needs with care that is structured, confidential, and culturally competent.

Located near the Florida coastline, our campus offers a peaceful setting where you can step away from daily pressures and focus fully on your recovery. Patients receive round-the-clock clinical and medical support while participating in personalized treatment built around trust, purpose, and resilience.

Why Choose the Freedom First Program?

The job changes you. The impact of trauma, stress, and moral injury can leave lasting wounds. Freedom First was built for those who serve. You will be surrounded by peers who understand the weight of your experiences and guided by professionals trained in military and first responder culture.

At our five-acre campus in Juno Beach, Florida, you will receive:

  • 24 hour support from licensed medical and behavioral health professionals
  • Dual diagnosis expertise for co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions
  • Evidence-based therapies grounded in trauma-informed care
  • A homelike, designated program housing residential unit for an environment with structure and accountability
  • Holistic services that support healing of the mind, body, and spirit

Trauma-Informed Treatment Built for Service Members

Every element of this program is grounded in trauma-informed care. That means we don’t just treat symptoms, we recognize the roots of trauma and how it shapes our behavior, beliefs, and relationships. We create space for reflection, growth, and recovery by offering:

  • Individual therapy with licensed trauma specialists
  • Group therapy focused on stress, identity, moral injury, and reintegration
  • Psychoeducation on trauma, triggers, and healthy coping strategies
  • Optional family counseling to support reconnection and trust
  • Holistic and experiential therapies that allow expression beyond words

We treat both primary mental health and primary substance use diagnoses, understanding that trauma is often at the core of both.
